2024 Call for Papers: Ugandan Pentecostal University Journal of Sustainable Development

The Ugandan Pentecostal University Journal of Sustainable Development is pleased to announce a call for papers for its upcoming issue. We invite researchers, scholars, practitioners, and academicians to contribute original research articles, case studies, and reviews that focus on sustainable development in Uganda and beyond.
Journal Theme:
Topics of Interest include but not limited to:
- Sustainable agriculture and food security
-Sustainable Development and artificial intelligence
- Renewable energy and environmental sustainability
- Community development and social entrepreneurship
- Climate change adaptation and mitigation strategies
- Sustainable urban planning and infrastructure development
- Gender equality and social inclusion in sustainable development initiatives
- Sustainable development and the law
-Any aspects of Sustainable Development Goal
Submission Guidelines:
- Manuscripts should be original and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
- Submissions should follow the APA style guide.
- Articles should be between 5000-8000 words.
- All submissions must be in English.

Notification of Acceptance: May 30, 2024
Publication Date: June/July 2024

The Uganda Pentecostal University Journal of Sustainable Development (UPUJSD) is pleased to announce its second issue, dedicated to advancing research and discourse on actionable sustainability. This peer-reviewed issue provides a vital platform for scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to share empirical research, innovative case studies, and critical analyses that address the most pressing sustainable development challenges in Uganda, East Africa, and beyond.
Theme: From Policy to Practice: Localizing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Uganda
This issue will prioritize contributions that bridge the gap between policy frameworks and tangible on-the-ground implementation. We particularly welcome submissions that offer interdisciplinary perspectives and context-specific solutions for advancing the SDGs in Uganda.
